Banana, you're a treasure You are faithful to the end, You're tasty and delicious And a monkeys' favorite friend. You're shaped so long and narrow With a funny, yellow skin, It makes a cozy place to put You're skinny body in. You've always been a healthy snack, The funniest in town, At times it's just like magic when your color turns to brown. I eat you on my cereal And after school as well, My friends would laugh at such a thought So please don't ever tell. They munch on cake and cookies Or have soda pop or gum, Too bad they've never noticed That unpeeling you is fun!
