Children's Story: by

Some people think I'm crazy
Others that I'm quite mad

There are even those that look at me with pity
And say Oh! How sad.

I hear the earth and all the sounds
From a raindrop when it hits the ground

The wind as it whooshes through the trees
And laugh at all the dancing leaves

When a bird takes flight I hear its sigh
With wings flapping as it soars high in the sky.

But the time I love best is on its way
The jingling bells on Santa's sleigh

Some do not believe and doubt
But listen carefully for Santa's shout

He calls to the reindeer and tells them where to go next
They don't want to see Santa vexed

They always respond with pride and speed
To his every direction whim and need

Children's Story: by

A trail of sparkling dust he leaves behind
That floats down to the ground for you to find

Listen carefully for the Christmas bells that chime
This truly is a magical time

Children's Story: by

As snowflakes fall I hear their sound
Like babies chattering as they float to the ground

Christmas trees with fairy lights
Excited children staying awake with all their might

All these sounds I happily hear and see
As I put my last present under the tree

A little note of thanks for Santa, for all the magic he brings
For the joy and excitement and wondrous things

Food for the reindeer and Santa as well
Maybe all the mince pies caused his tummy to swell?

I'm sorry but I must hurry to my bed, or instead of a present
I will find coal instead
