My dog Jeremy is a Yorkie who is 5 years old He is brown and silver and treats me like gold He is a very handsome dog as everyone knows He is gentle and loves to be petted as he goes He loves walking in the park and it is all right He is a terrier barking at strangers with no bite He wants to become master of our brick house He has even been seen to chase after a mouse He is little and sleeps by my side all year long He weighs just 10 pounds, but is pretty strong He walks on my chest whenever I lay down He gets shaky scared when I take him to town He barks when anyone comes in the driveway He can hear them and smell them a mile away His senses of hearing and smelling are just super One late night he has even spotted a real snooper He protects us and our home from anyone's harm His barking to warn us is a very good safety alarm He never is bother nor is causing much of a mess When he gets sick he will quickly walk to see Tess Tess lifts him up on the counter for a dose of med Then she carries him right to his little warm bed In a short time he will become his happy old self It is like a miracle cure that came from a fairy elf Jeremy stares at me when he has an urgent need He is clever and bright and wants it with speed He is smart and with good sense to a certain regard He will chase squirrels up the trees on the front yard With head down low he tracks scents and is curious He has a heart of a bulldog, but too small to be serious We never had a dog as a pet at the house until Jeremy He is very capable to detect a friend or a real enemy A good dog is certainly man's best friend that is for sure He will follow with you just as long as you can endure THE END If you enjoyed this story, there are many more in our collection, to register for more Free Stories please click below or click the Free Story Access button top left on this page.
