Children's Story: by

Hello, you look very clever to me
What do you think is better to do?
Please can you try to help me?

Please tell me which is best
Hours of running and racing around
Or lots of snoring sleepy rest?

And what should I eat for my dinner?
Juicy slices of sunshiny fruit
Or French fries and pizza?

Am I being bit cheeky?
Yes, I think I am!
We can do all of these

But not all of the time
You really shouldn't run in bed
Or take a nap with your French fries

Children's Story: by

Which of these sounds good to you?
Smiling and saying thank you and please
Or frowning and being really rude?

Should we be kind and full of helpfulness
Or mean, greedy and grumpy?
Naughtiness causes such a fuss!

Be honest, if your little brother was scared
Of what might be lurking under his bed
Would you fib there was a monster with its teeth bared?

Children's Story: by

Would you push your giggly wriggly sister
On a bright red swing in the park
Or would you run off to the slide and leave her?

You might want to call someone a name
And "Poopypants" may sound funny
But isn't it wrong to use horrible names?

It's wonderful to give sweet kisses and hugs
That's an easy yes, isn't it?
Oh yes, far better than harsh kicks and a shrug

Do tell, would you choose to share
Your time with friends who might make you cross
Or ignore them instead without a care?

Is it better to say you that you don't know
Than to hide or lie and cheat?
Quite right, telling the truth is always the way to go

Well done, I have great answers, hooray!
Thank you for being the best of friends
Let's go put a smile on peoples' faces today!

Here's a thank you present from me to you
A great big squishy snuggly hug
And oodles of happy wishes too!
