Children's Story: by

My best little friend is only three
And she is silly just like me
Her hair is tidy, neat and brown
With pretty pink ribbons, all tied around

I laugh and I giggle
When she is around
And she always takes me with her to town
In shopping trolleys I sit with her
And choose the best sweeties for us both to share

Children's Story: by

Sometimes at night
When all are asleep
We sit on the bed
And hear the owls toot then twit to woo
As they all fly around
The dusty old stable
Beside the brown barn

Children's Story: by

When the light of the morning
Comes round again
My best friend and I
Skip right down the stairs
With shoes to wear and books to read
She really is all I will ever need

Children's Story: by

Away to the school in mummy's red car
With lessons in maths and reading aloud
We sit together without making a sound
Then into the playground we run around

Hand in hand we skip and we jump
And Dotty the rabbit, she caught the mumps!
And Daisy the cow all covered in green
Bounces around the new May Queen

Children's Story: by

From bright summers nights
To winters so cold
And bright yellow flowers
Of daffodils bold
With autumn leaves
Of orange and gold
Who cares if it's hot or rainy or not?

From head to toe
We are what we seem
The best little friends
That you've ever seen
