Welcome to Craggy Castle, it's sunny and warm here today,
Prince Jack and his friends are in the garden, busy at play.

Children's Story: by

They're lucky, there's a swing, a slide, a seesaw and a climbing frame.
So much fun can be had at Craggy Castle, so many ways to play.

Children's Story: by

Queen Rose is sat on her throne under the tree, just over there.
She and Prince Jack's friends think that he ought to share.

Play for a while with something else but the swing; yes, that would be fair.
Queen Rose said. "Come now, show your friends that you care, please share."

Children's Story: by

He pulled a face. "Oh no, not now. I care, but I want to stay here."
"Please let your friends have fun too, be of good cheer."

Just then King Andrew appeared, to his son he drew near,
"They like the swing too, go on, make them whoop and cheer."

Children's Story: by

Prince Jack didn't want to be mean, so he jumped off the swing.
He made his friends clap with glee. "Well done Jack, you've done a fine thing."

Children's Story: by

Jack was proud of himself for being good, he liked the feeling.
"It's true, with friends like you at Craggy Castle we can do many things!"
